Subsea Utilities Installation
Our GAQ team specializes in shallow water installations of submarine utilities, leveraging extensive global experience in project and engineering management. Their expertise includes supporting outfall and platform pull-ins for fiber optic and power cables, installing pre-laid shore ends, shallow water pipelines, and cable repairs. They also handle cable transpooling, route clearance, OGB installations, crossings treatment, and the protection of cables and pipelines.
Survey Works
Here at GAQ conducts a diverse range of survey operations across various applications. Our specialties include topographic, geophysical, and geotechnical surveys, as well as navigation and positioning for construction and cable laying. Trenching and Protection
Here at GAQ, we provide a comprehensive range of solutions for submarine cable and pipeline burial and protection, tailored to project needs. Our services include diver-assisted burial with jet sleds, air-lift and hand-jetting, dredging with pumps, and beach burial in various soil types. We also offer grouting of pre-cut trenches, articulated pipes for cables, and anchoring solutions such as anchor clamps, helix and screw anchors, and concrete mattresses. Additional options include sand or cement bags and crossings treatment with buffering materials like Uraducts. Some protection products are engineered and fabricated in-house.
Dive Support
Our company provides commercial diving services for both inshore and offshore projects across various sectors. We specialize in pipeline and submarine cable installation, HDD outfall diving support, port construction, and general inspections. Our highly qualified and HSE-certified dive teams, equipped with portable diving spreads, adhere to local and international standards. Services include the installation and protection of submarine cables and umbilicals, articulated pipes, sand-bags, and anchor clamps; HDD outfall operations; diver video surveys; NDT inspections; welding and cutting; marine construction support; and maintenance of in-water structures and cathodic protection.
Terrestrial Installations
At GAQ, we employ a dedicated team for terrestrial pipeline and cable installation, providing comprehensive solutions from excavation and duct installation to cable pulling, blowing, and splicing. Leveraging our expertise in the telecommunications industry, we offer end-to-end networking solutions for both fiber optic and copper cable networks. Our certified specialists, including network engineers, splicers, and civil engineers, deliver high-quality, customized solutions from the BMH to telecom centers. Our terrestrial services include GIS network design, civil engineering, fiber optic network deployment and troubleshooting, aerial wire services, LAN and wireless network construction, CCTV and telemetry networks, and the installation of precast manholes and transition joint beds.
Trenchless Installations
Our company leverages a global network of top-tier suppliers to offer cost-effective, high-quality solutions, including consultancy, in-house engineering, and design for HDD and Auger Boring projects. We specialize in horizontal directional drilling (HDD) for outfall crossings, providing comprehensive marine and subsea support to protect submarine cables when traditional trenching is not feasible. Here at GAQ we operate HDD rigs ranging from 10T to 250T pulling capacity and also offers Auger Boring services for installing pipelines up to 56 inches in diameter, where HDD is impractical or uneconomical.
